LIVE 8 AFRICAN AID PROGRAM MISSES HISTORICAL REASON FOR CURRENT AFRICAN FINANCIAL DILEMMA

The essential information that eludes the exemplary work of the Live 8 group of performers is the simple fact that Great Britain in the past three hundred years has exploited, plundered, extracted, and drained off billions upon billions of labour and resource dollars from their former African Colonies and continue their economic exploition to this day. This undeniable economic history is most certainly among the prime causes of today's ongoing plight of Africa's impoverished economies, and death and starvation in African today. Victorian England saw Africa as a vast virginal repository of potential fortunes that could be made quickly and easily by dealing in gold, diamonds, ivory, and slavery.

The recent media crocodile tears being shed for Africa by Tony Blair, Gordon Brown, Jack Straw, is fraudulent at best. Certainly other European nations were also involved in this agenda of African exploitation but none to the degree that Great Britain excercised in the past three centuries. England must be confronted with this shameful history by the International Community and made accountable to their former Colonial African Nations and legally compelled to refund a portion of the trillions of dollars that they have plundered by their former colonial domination and economic presence in eighteen African nations.
